Tesla’s Kitchen is preparing a restaurant at 8480 Morrison Road, Suite B, in New Orleans East, with Honduran dishes alongside American and New Orleans favorites.
In an October 15 report by What Now New Orleans, owner Tesla Arzu said she was finishing culinary school while working toward her first restaurant. The report says final building inspections were still underway.
Plans call for dine-in and takeout service, with baleadas, Honduran chicken dishes, shrimp and grits, and the restaurant’s own burgers.
An official opening date and operating hours have not been confirmed in the reporting reviewed for this story. This is a restaurant in the works, so wait for the opening announcement before making the trip.
