A fire damaged vacant homes and a small bus near Interstate 10 in New Orleans early Monday, October 12.
WWL reports that the fire was in the 1900 block of North Rocheblave Street at Allen Street. Citing the New Orleans Fire Department, the station says the first unit arrived at 6:19 a.m., after an initial call around 6:15 a.m.
A double, a two-story fourplex and the bus were heavily involved in flames. A second alarm brought more firefighters.
WWL reports that none of the six residences were occupied or had utilities. The cause remains under investigation.
