SWBNO issued a precautionary boil water advisory for Memorial Park on the West Bank at 10:26 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The official notice and affected-area map list General de Gaulle Drive from the Westbank Expressway to Texas Drive, and Texas Drive from General de Gaulle to the parish line. Check that map to see whether your address is affected.
The board says pressure fell below 20 psi during replacement of a 16-inch valve. In the affected area, use bottled or boiled tap water for drinking, cooking, cleaning food and brushing teeth until further notice. SWBNO instructs residents to bring water to a rolling boil for a full minute.
