Ghosts in the Oaks opens Thursday, with Saturday already sold out

City Park’s Halloween fundraiser starts October 15. Tickets must be bought ahead of time, and both Saturday admission options are listed sold out.

Ghosts in the Oaks opens Thursday, October 15, at City Park, with four nights of rides, trick-or-treating and Halloween activities through Sunday, October 18. You need to buy tickets online before arriving. City Park says tickets will not be sold at the gate.

As checked on October 14, the official ticket page listed both Saturday admission options as sold out. General admission was still listed available for Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Friday and Sunday early admission were also sold out. Availability can change, so check the selected night before making plans.

General admission is $30 and runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Early admission is $35 and starts at 5 p.m. Friends of City Park members receive $5 off general admission, and children 2 and younger get in free.

The entrance is at 7 Victory Avenue, with the event held in Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and Storyland. This year’s outer-space theme includes rides, a treat route and live entertainment. Parking in City Park is free.
