The Saints will honor Drew Brees at halftime of their Sunday, October 11 game at Caesars Superdome. In details released Friday, the team says fans entering the Dome will receive a commemorative Brees banner while supplies last.
Brees will become the ninth member of the Saints Ring of Honor. The ceremony includes presentation of his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring, and the team says his Hall of Fame bust will be on display inside the Superdome.
Big Sam’s Funky Nation is scheduled to perform in Champions Square before the game. Robin Barnes will sing the national anthem before kickoff.
The induction date was announced in August. Friday’s update adds the banner, bust display and music details for people attending Sunday. Check the team’s event information before heading out.
