Chi Chi’s is bringing Gonzo’s Smokehouse & BBQ to Freret Street for a one-night menu on Tuesday, October 20. The collaboration runs from 5 to 10 p.m. at 4714 Freret Street, according to an October 9 announcement carried by MyNewOrleans.com.
Chef Adolfo Garcia Jr. will welcome Gonzo’s founder Jason Gonzalez for a menu combining the Luling smokehouse’s Texas-style barbecue with Chi Chi’s Korean and Japanese-inspired cooking.
Two announced dishes are a smoked beef cheek curry bowl and barbecue lemongrass lamb chops. Both are on the menu for this special service.
