Dolly Day Parade 2026
New Orleans celebrated Dolly Parton with the Krewe of Dolly on September 25, 2026. The Dolly Day Parade brought fans together for a walking tribute from Armstrong Park through the French Quarter to the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
The date was a playful nod to “9 to 5,” with a celebration rooted in Dolly’s music, kindness, and generosity. The Krewe of Dolly led the way, bringing New Orleans parade traditions to an afternoon honoring her life and legacy.
The celebration also highlighted Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides books to young children. Alongside the costumes and music, that commitment to giving back helped give the day its meaning.
