Dirty Linen Night 2026
Royal Street became an open-air salon on Saturday, August 8, as Dirty Linen Night returned to the French Quarter. Galleries and shops welcomed the evening crowd while artists, costumed characters, musicians, and neighbors filled the blocks between storefronts. Nola Street Beat photographed the faces and small details that gave the 2026 celebration its personality—from hand-painted looks and street-side portraits to linen-clad gallery walkers moving through one of New Orleans' signature summer art nights.
