History and tradition
NOLA Funk Fest was created as the public-facing celebration and fundraising engine for the Louisiana Music & Heritage Experience, a planned museum dedicated to preserving the state’s musical history. Its performances and cultural programs connect present-day Louisiana musicians with the larger story the future museum intends to tell.
